So he opened the front door and Will and I were waiting to see his reaction..this is what we saw:He was so surprised and so happy!
I poured him a cup of coffee. Will put in the cream and sugar. We left him alone with some biscotti and Miles Davis music and a magazine. I came back not even 5 MINUTES later and this is what I found...My heart sank when I saw him. He's just plain tuckered out. I turned the music down and let him take a nap right there. This man was exhausted. It hurts my heart to see him so tired and trying to keep up with everything. I'm so glad I have this picture to remind me to give him breaks and to make this home a haven for him. He really needs it.

How precious! And how fantastic that you made a special little haven for him where he knew he could relax. What a thoughtful wife!
That was so sweet! What a good wifey you are!!!!
And about Jillian. Ugh...I really like her, BUT, I want Stephanie to be the next Bachelorette! They have had a single dad on there, now they need to have a single mom. And let's be honest, who better than Stephanie??
I would chat online w/you, but I don't have the patience to watch the show live. I usually wait for the dvr to record it a good 45 minutes into the show before I start watching. I hate the cliffhangers that lead to commercials! I love being able to "stick it to the man" and fast forward all those lame commercials :)
Angela, that was the sweetest idea and I may even copy but in a little different way! I read a book a while ago called "Created to be his Help Meet". It was a good book, but gave some great suggestions for taking care of your mate! Your exactly what God has called you to be for Paul!
Now, as far as the Bachelor......have you read any of the message boards? If you have let me know, if you haven't there is so much drama with the upcoming show, I am kinda not liking Jason anymore!
That is awesome! I know it was disappointing not to have him enjoy it, but at least he enjoyed it in an unexpected way!
God has given you to each other and the love you have is so presious. Even if he didn't drink the coffee or eat the treat, he will never forget that moment of rest the best gift of all you gave him....peace, relaxation. He and you are so appreicated for the gifts you share with all of us.
Oh dear, I usually don't even entertain anonymous comments that are somewhat questionable, but I've got to say something about this one in regards to my husband.
He does not ever receive PAMPERING. He is a hard working man who needs a break and I am thankful he got a 30 MINUTE break that afternoon. In fact, he never does anything for himself. So go ahead and make fun of his "PamPering afternoon" if you wish. But, your PresumPtions are emPty.
You are a good wifey, Angela, a good wifey!
Yea! I love happy endings! :-) I bet my guy would fall right asleep, too. Thanks for the reminder that our husbands need a little TLC.
