This and That's just aren't important...

Over the past few days I've been thinking of little "this and that's" that I could post that would be fun. But I have to share with you something that is on my heart. Some of you may know my blogger friend, Melanie. She is a speaker, writer, a wife and a mom. There has been a little button on the side of my page that says..."Pray for Andrew". While catching up on reading my friend's blogs, I found out that Andrew is now in heaven. If you've never visited her site before, I encourage you to. I can't begin to imagine the grief and pain of losing a child. Melanie, our prayers are still with you and your precious family. My heart is broken for you. After reading this post I won't ever forget the picture of spending time with your son while you are worshipping our Heavenly Father.

I drank the wrong one

This past Sunday at church, I brought a bottle of KROGER water with me. I sat the water in my chair (so I thought), came back, picked it up and sipped on it all morning. It wasn't until I got HOME that I realized I hat put my Kroger bottle back in my purse and I had been drinking this Nestle bottle all morning. As you can see, the Nestle bottle is EMPTY. I drank the whole thing! Euwwwwww! I have no idea who's bottle that was!!! It had already been opened when I started drinking it too.

Lesson: pay attention to your brand of water.

Mom and Dad at the FOX

My parents came in town last week. It was such a treat to have them here. We shopped and ate. A friend of ours gave us tickets to go see the ROCKETTES at The FOX theatre in Atlanta. My parents have never been to a real broadway theatre. Mom, dad, me, and Will went on a date. I had as much fun watching my parents in that environment as I did watching the show. We sure did have a great time. Thanks so much Robert for the tickets. We made such great memories that night!

Great deal at Walgreens!

I found this puffy pink vest at WALGREENS this week. It was normally $14.99, but is half off. I got this little number for $7.49! I never thought I'd be buying clothes from Walgreens, but I sure do like my new find! They have other colors, black, red and blue. They're reversible too.

Wal-Zyr is making me crazy!

My boys have been sick for a couple weeks. Cough and cold stuff. I had to start giving Wesley an allergy medicine to clear him up. I bought the Walgreens version of Zyrtec (Wal-Zyr). Wes has been on it for a week and he is BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS! I have never seen him so hyper. He's active enough without medicine. I'm exhausted just watching him. He crashes at night though and I love to watch him sleep so peacefully.

Tonight when I put the boys to bed, they were both coughing. I could hear them all the way downstairs. I get worried when I hear them. Does anybody else get that way? I mean, I will pace my kitchen thinking..."should I go up? maybe I should give them some vapor rub? Delsym?...etc."

As I was praying for my boys and their colds tonight, I stopped to pray for a sweet blogger friend's son, Andrew. He is battling cancer. His mom, Melanie is a prayer warrior and has prayed for me at times, and she's never even met me. Please pray for her sweet son and that God would heal every cell in his body. I can't imagine how hard it is as a mom to see your child go through that.

Meanwhile, I think I might chuck this Wal-Zyr and try a homeopathic route. Any suggestions?
